STUDENTS at James Cook Primary School were kicking goals during an eight-week sports program.
Every Tuesday, Prep to Grade 2 students actively participated in warm ups, handpasses, marks and skill games as part of the Auskick program, which aims to improve fundamental motor skills used in footy games.
Hallam Senior Secondary College AFL Sports Academy students recently visited the students at James Cook Primary School to introduce students to different skills required to play a variety of sports.
The fun and educational program ended on 28 June with a Footy and Sports Dress Up Day, a sausage sizzle and football clinic.
