TOP national runners Jeff Riseley and Alice Platten and AFL players Mark Graham and Adam McPhee … they are just four of many leading sportsmen and women who learnt to run at the Narre Warren Little Athletics Club.
Riseley, who is currently running in the world championships in South Korea, Platten, the winner of the 400 metres for women at the recent Stawell Gift, Graham (ex-Hawthorn player) and McPhee (ex-Essendon, now Fremantle player) learnt their skills at the NWLAC, which was founded in 1975.
Now it can be your turn.
On Saturday 17 September, the club will host its registration day for the coming track and field season at its clubrooms – the Max Pawsey Reserve – next to the Fountain Gate Shopping Centre.
Club officials Steve or Kerry Fenton can be contacted on 9703 2239 for further information.
