MORE than 180 artworks were on display at the Monbulk Care Network art show that was held recently.
The show, which was a joint project of the Open Door Community House and the Care Network, gave students from prep to year 12 a chance to enter their photography and art.
Students from primary schools in the area including Kallista, Monbulk, Silvan and St Paul’s along with secondary school students from Monbulk College and Mountain District Christian School entered. Organiser Judy Thornburn said this was the third year the show has run and was very successful.
“The prizes were great and the show really encouraged kids, because it gives them a bit of recognition.”
