Couple unite at Federation

IT’S a few weeks early, but Monbulk lovebirds Emma Mullinder and Robby Comfort will have an extra reason to celebrate this Christmas after the two got engaged over the weekend.
Thinking they were just heading into the city to check out the Myer Christmas windows on Saturday night, Emma was taken by surprise when Robby took her on a detour to Federation Square.
Soon a photo slide show, accompanied by a Beatles song hit the big screen as Robby got on one knee and propsed to his partner of four years.
The two have been dating for more than four years and met through their association with the Monbulk Football Netball Club.
They have a 23-month-old son called Hudson who already takes after his parents’ love for outdoor activities.
