New chief at Olinda

By EMMA SUN

THERE is a new cop in town.
Former Belgrave Police Station Sergeant Paul Phillips has moved to the Olinda Police Station as the officer in charge.
He replaces Sgt Andrew Herdman, who has been rotated back to Belgrave after being in charge of Olinda for two years.
Sgt Phillips is expected to stay at the station for at least a year, and joins Leading Senior Constables Tim Wall and Geoff Long to form a tight-knit team.
He said he hoped to be very involved with the community.
