Monbulk Aquatic Centre manager Helen Hostettler and Yarra Ranges councillor Samantha Dunn got a sneak peek of the upgraded Monbulk Aquatic Centre last Thursday.
The centre is due to open its doors to the public for the first time this Friday since it closed for a major redevelopment in December 2011.
Cr Samantha Dunn said the community would be blown away by what they see.
“It completely exceeded my expectations,” she said.
“It’s been a long time coming, but I’m absolutely ecstatic about the result.”
