OOZING with creative juices, the official launch of the End of the Line festival took place last week giving attendees a snippet of what is to come.
Showcasing live music and visual arts displays, the event was an opportunity to meet organisers and sponsors of the festival.
This community arts festival is put together by volunteers of the Belgrave Community Arts Partnerships. It runs purely on passion, generosity and donations by the musicians, artists, performers, makers and the community.
Last year, the festival featured more than 40 musicians across five stages with all participants donating their time and talents to share in the celebration of local arts.
A further 200 artists teamed up in 25 exhibitions located in unique and unusual spaces over the town including local shops, alleyways and even the laundromat.
The aim of the event is to develop opportunities and connections between artists and the wider community to strengthen the community spirit.
So mark it in your calendars, Saturday 30 November, to be a part of the Second Annual End of the Line Festival.
