UPDATE: Police have charged a 35-year-old man over a firearms incident which occurred in Lilydale on Sunday evening.
Simon Hancock faced an out of sessions hearing at the Ringwood Police Station after handing himself in to police earlier today.
He was charged with reckless conduct endangering life, common law assault and firearms offences.
He was remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Investigators still wish to speak to Kim Perry and urge anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Triple Zero (000) or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
