FAMILY fun for free is the philosophy behind the Wandin Sunset Festival.
The festival at the Wandin Shopping Centre on Friday 29 November from 5.30pm to sunset is funded by the monthly Wandin Market.
“It’s all free to the community,” said organiser Glenda Cook.
“It’s our chance to give back to the community that supports us.”
Wurundjeri Ngurungaeta Murrindindi will open the festival and there will be jumping castles, a mechanical bull, face painting and a visit from Santa.
There’ll be a great range of market stalls to provide an opportunity to pick up some bargains and cross a few presents off the Christmas gift list as well as food, community displays and demonstrations.
Winners of the Wandin-Seville Community Bank schools colouring competition will also be announced on the night.
Phone Glenda Cook on 5964 4946 for further information.
