Sex shop charges
A 20-YEAR-OLD Lilydale man has been charged after an armed robbery at his local sex shop.
The man entered Exotic Nights in Main Street, Lilydale, at 9pm on Sunday 23 March wearing a balaclava and demanded the attendant put money into a bag.
He then fled on foot.
Five minutes later, the same man, without the balaclava, entered the store and bought some items with the money he stole.
The attendant recognised the man and called police.
PSO officers at Lilydale Railway Station were able to identify the man and he was subsequently charged.

Cars cleaned out
POLICE are investigating a series of thefts from cars in Upwey.
Four cars were broken into and personal items were stolen between the 25 and 26 of March.
Of the cars, three were unlocked, and one was locked although police found no sight of forced entry.
Detective Senior Sergeant Allan Price said it was a timely reminder for residents to make sure they locked their cars.

Drugs raid
CASH and drugs were stolen from a Mount Evelyn pharmacy last week.
Police believe two men, wearing gloves and masks, smashed the front door of the shop front at 1am on Tuesday 25 March.

Victim getaway
WITNESSES are being asked to contact police after an attempted armed robbery in Mooroolbark.
A 24-year-old man was walking down Yinyard Crescent at 2am on Sunday 23 March when he was approached by two males.
The men produced a knife and demanded his phone and wallet.
The victim fled without handing over the items.
