Time to get cross fit

WITH summer well and truly gone, Yarra Ranges athletes is looking forward to the winter cross country season.
Yarra Ranges Athletics club holds weekly cross country events each Saturday morning. There is an event for everyone, from five years old to 105 years old, and a distance from 500m to 5000m held on varied terrain around the parklands of the Yarra Valley.
This season’s opening round is on Saturday 11 April, at Morrison Reserve, Mount Evelyn, from 8.45am.
Everyone is welcome.
The club’s senior athletes are preparing for the opening round of the Athletics Victoria XCR15 season on Saturday 18 April, the cross country relays at Jells Park.
Ensure you have registered with Athletics Victoria to be eligible to run on the day; go to www.athsvic.org.au to register.
The club will recognise the achievements over the summer season of the little athletics members at the presentation night on Saturday night.

Everyone is encouraged to come along and to also consider how they can be involved.
New members of all ages and abilities will always be welcomed at the club.
