WORK has continued this week on a $40 million project to upgrade powerlines in the Dandenong Ranges. A spokesman from Ausnet said the upgrade was now in full swing and was on track to be completed in April next year. The project involves relocating more than 30 kilometres of existing powerlines underground, with the overall aim to increase safety and reduce power outages.
