Charges laid over crash

CULPABLE driving charges have been laid over a multi-car collision in January in which a Mount Evelyn man, 60, was killed.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a Rowville man, 23, over the collision which occurred in Bayswater.
The Mount Evelyn man died on the scene of the crash, which closed the intersection at Dorset Road and Canterbury Road shortly before 6am on 19 January.
The Rowville man has been bailed to appear for sentencing at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 10 August.
