AWARD-winning puppeteer Jenny Ellis will soon be presenting her show, ‘The Owl’s Apprentice’.
As part of the school holidays program at Burrinja, Ellis will entertain audiences with a heart-warming, playful show, which combines shadow and hand puppetry with physical comedy and storytelling.
The show is about unique Australian animals.
Meanwhile, after the show there will be an opportunity to experience the puppets up close with demonstrations.
Ellis said there was plenty on offer for local families.
“I hope the kids will learn that wisdom is many, many things,” she said.
“It’s finding humour, it’s persisting, not giving up, and learning to accept yourself.”
The performance is perfect for ages 4 to 10 years and will run for 40 minutes.
The show will be held on Tuesday, 29 September, at 11am and 2pm.
Cost is $12 to $15.
