THE final preparations are now in place for the biennial Mount Evelyn Street Party.
It’s finally here, this Saturday, 24 October, from 10am to 3pm.
With a 1950s theme set to impress all guests, the event will take place down the middle of Wray Crescent shopping strip.
Residents in the town and beyond are encouraged to embrace the theme, ‘Memories are made of this’, which is taken from the popular Dean Martin song.
There will be plenty of performances from local schools and musicians, as well as a Bebop Vic dance demonstration and an Elvis impersonation.
Also, there will be the Viva Las Vegas Pin Up Competition and much more.
There is a huge list of things to see and do, not to mention the many great people involved in the event.
