POLICE are searching for information after watches and a wallet were stolen from a Tecoma property last week.
Yarra Ranges Crime Investigation Unit (CIU) Detective Sergeant Mark Smithwick said that between 6am and 5pm on Tuesday, 20 October, rear sliding doors were jemmied at a Burwood Highway property in Tecoma.
Two watches and a wallet were stolen from the property, and Det Sgt Smithwick said a next-door unit was also broken into, though nothing was reported as stolen.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to submit a confidential crime report to www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.

Door-busters
DOOR-smashing vandals are being hunted by police, after an incident at Mount Evelyn’s Yarra Hills Secondary College campus last week.
Yarra Ranges Crime Investigation Unit (CIU) Detective Sergeant Mark Smithwick said that, at 4.20am on Tuesday, 20 October, unknown persons entered the Old Hereford Road campus, possibly through an unlocked door.
Det Sgt Smithwick said that a glass door to the canteen was then smashed, though no items were recorded as stolen in the incident.

Thieves go high-tech
POLICE are appealing for information after computer equipment was stolen from an Upwey property last week.
Yarra Ranges Crime Investigation Unit (CIU) Detective Sergeant Mark Smithwick said that between 8am and 5.45pm on Wednesday, 21 October, unknown persons broke into a property in Hughes Street in Upwey.
Det Sgt Smithwick said that laptops, cameras and a computer were stolen from the property, with a combined value of about $2500.
