Bet your boots it’ll be good

OLINDA Community House is aiming for its inaugural Open Day and Car Boot Sale to become something special. After a recent funds cut to the organisation, the committee has called on its collective entrepreneurial spirit to organise the event on Saturday, October 31. But the group said they need the community to get right behind this event, which has so far attracted around 40 stall-holders. The event will feature many great things to see and do, including sausage sizzle and Devonshire tea, while Brunch in Mount Dandenong will be sponsoring a coffee cart. The local CFA, CWA and Olinda Pool Group will be holding stalls. The Olinda Pool is set to open on Thursday, 5 December, right next door. Olinda Community House is hoping these events will revitalise the whole precinct, which they believe is a perfect area for renewed growth. Pictured are show bags for the day.
