HOT on the heels of her last contribution of a young magpie, Belgrave Heights resident Inge Meldgaard has submitted this wonderful image of a rosella.
Inge said she took the shot in the afternoon light, with the contrast turned down slightly in order to capture the vibrant reds.
According to Inge, she began feeding a male king parrot in 2006, with rosellas arriving not long after.
“It takes quite a strategic effort to prevent them all from squabbling, though,” she said.
