Animator brings work to fans

CRITICALLY acclaimed artist Shaun Tan is from this week hosting his exhibition, ‘The lost Thing: From Book to Film’ at the Yarra Ranges Regional Musem at Lilydale.

The exhibition goes behind the scenes of Academy Award winning Australian animator Shaun Tan’s film and book, ‘The Lost Thing’.

The exhibition tells the story of a boy who befriends a strange creature and features original drawings and working sketches.

Other features include exclusive footage and sound artists who demonstrate how the drawings were brought to life.

The exhibition runs until Sunday, 14 February.

Open 10am-4pm from Monday to Sunday. Cost is free.
