High winds hit

ACCORDING to Emerald SES, the Dandenong Ranges region escaped largely unscathed from strong winds on Wednesday 25 November, with the exception of some large trees strewn across roads.
However the SES tended to a fallen gum tree which pulled down power lines in North Avenue, Mount Evelyn.
High winds had toppled the large but healthy tree. The power was out over a large area of the town for about 16 hours. 147679 Picture: GREG CARRICK
