HAPPY snapper Rob Bonici took the chance to capture a photo of a Superb Lyrebird, which he spotted in the Sherbrooke Forest. Rob said he felt lucky to have captured the image. “I find early mornings on cold days are a good time to see them. To get this photo, I walked into the bush a bit and stood still until one wandered out in front of me”. Rob said he used a 300mm lens, so he didn’t have to get too close. “We are so lucky to live among these beautiful birds,” he said. “Watching them sing and dance is the kind of stuff you see in nature documentaries.” The Mail is inviting all passionate shutterbugs to submit their favourite images for our Lenscape section.
