YARRA Ranges Athletics athletes competed in the Victoran Little Athletics State Track and Field Championships over the weekend, this year held at a blustery Casey Fields in Cranbourne.
A steady start to day one, with many personal bests, finished with an avalanche of medals.
Congratulations to club coaches – Brendan Dixon, Malcolm Duncan, Graeme Woolridge, Jamie Strudley and Susan Taylor – for preparing their athletes to the results they have achieved this season.
The club is sure the athletes, the parents and certainly the club, value your commitment and are thankful for your dedication to the development and support of our athletes.

Some of the more mature athletes competed in the Victorian Masters Track and Field Championships held at Doncaster.
Saturday results are: Sophie Todorov W40-44 100m 2nd 14.10, Javelin 2nd 25.28m, Hammer Throw 2nd 27.47m, Kathi Hewitson W40-44 100m 3rd 16.33, Hammer Throw 3rd 22.42m, M40-44 400m Craig Hewitson 4th 58.23.
Tickets are now available for the Little Athletics presentation day on Saturday, 16 April, and the Senior Awards Night on Wednesday, 20 April.
