DANCE like nobody’s watching.
In a nutshell, that’s the concept of a new community event recently established in Upper Ferntree Gully, called No Lights, No Lycra (NLNL).
NLNL is a global dance community, providing an inclusive and non-judgmental place for people to explore this notion.
Local participant Paula Dunne says NLNL is the belief that everyone can dance.
“NLNL started in Melbourne and is now worldwide. We have had four nights so far and the feedback has been great,” she said.
Classes are held at the Spirit of Arts, 9a Rose Street, Upper Ferntree Gully, on Thursdays from 7pm to 8pm weekly.
