MONBULK’S new ‘Try local’ promotion is celebrating local business and rewarding shoppers with a chance to win up to $1200 in vouchers. As part of the six-month campaign, one prize of a $200 voucher will be drawn each month. Customers who spend a minimum of $10 with participating businesses can fill out their details on their receipt, and then drop it in the special boxes. John Coleman, from the Monbulk Business Network, said encouraging people to shop locally would help the main street thrive.
