ISUZU UTE Australia (IUA) has had its excellent product reliability and after-sales service claims validated in the recent Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards, which placed IUA joint second (with Subaru) after winner Lexus in its 2015 Car Manufacturer of the Year.
Roy Morgan Research, Australia’s largest independent research company and one of the most respected in the world, has been measuring customer satisfaction for many years and collects customer satisfaction ratings from ongoing single source surveys from more than 50,000 consumers.
This data is then used to determine the monthly and annual winners of the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards.
The winner for the calendar year is the organisation that achieves the most months with a number one ranking.
Isuzu UTE Australia has also started off the 2016 Customer Satisfaction Awards in strong fashion, posting their first win in the January survey.
Meanwhile, the award continues its meteoric rise; Isuzu UTE Australia finished 2015 with a total of 20,984 vehicle sales – a noteworthy YTD increase of 4310 vehicles (26 per cent increase on 2014).
IUA recorded a strong finish to 2015, registering a total of 2041 vehicle sales for the month of December – comprising 1434 one-tonne D-MAX ute and 607 units of its seven-seat MU-X SUV.
The YTD results for the D-MAX (14,640 units) being particularly impressive in 2015 having outsold some of the more established one-tonne ute brands in the Nissan Navara (13,897 units) and the Mazda BT-50 (13,500 units).
December 2015 also delivered the Brisbane-based distributor the sale of its 70,000th vehicle since entering the Australian market in late-2008 (70,990 to date – 59,908 D-MAX / 11,082 MU-X), making it Australia’s fastest growing automotive brand.
Isuzu UTE now ranks as Australia’s 16th largest automotive brand, surpassing more time-honoured brands such as Suzuki.
Pursuing a 2015 target of 20,000 vehicle sales, IUA managing director and CEO, Yasuhiro (Yasu) Takeuchi proudly proclaimed Isuzu UTE aimed continued growth in 2016 and beyond.
“I am very pleased with our 2015 result and our rapid growth which grew more than double vs 2013 (10,089 units).
“And, I am also proud of the wonderfully committed family of dealers – now numbering around 130 outlets across the country,” Yasu said.
“Also contributing to our success in 2015 was the launch of our Go Your Own Way marketing platform and the introduction of our I-Venture Club initiative, both which have been very well received by the market.
“2016 will again see us faced with the challenge of growing in the most competitive segments of the Australian automotive market but I believe the combination of our honest, reliable products that deliver on their promise, coupled with our class-leading customer satisfaction, means our brand will surely continue to strengthen,” Yasu added.
