TEN Conservation Corps volunteers from California in the US recently removed 15,261 sweet pittosporum seedlings and young plants from Bob’s Park near Cardinia Dam. The removal effort took over three days to complete, with the team-up courtesy of Conservation Volunteers Australia. The work forms part of the new Pittosporum Control Program in the Dandenong Ranges, with funds coming from a recent $250,000 grant to StopPitt Inc.
