Grand finals glory for Lakers

EMERALD Lakers Basketball Club had seven teams compete in grand final games on Saturday and Sunday, 22-23 October, in the Knox Basketball Association.
The players all performed well, with some mixed results:
Under 10CR Boys runners-up 19-29; Under 12C Boys premiers 27-24; Under 14A Girls runners-up 41-52; Under 14 BR Girls premiers 37-20; Under 16 BR boys premiers 35-32; Under 16D Boys runners-up 30-34; Under 23C Girls runners-up 27-28.
Congratulations to Liam and Jack S. for being first and second leading goal-scorers in the competition for boys Under 10CR section, with 178 and 165 points shot through the season.
Congratulations to Paige and Alannah for being first and second leading goal-scorers in the competition for girls Under 14A section, with 287 and 223 points shot through the season.
Congratulations to Chelsea and Sophie for being second and fourth leading goal-scorers in the competition for girls Under 14BR section, with 123 and 107 points shot through the season.
Congratulations to Erica for being fourth leading goal scorers in the competition for girls Under 23C section with 151 points shot through the season.
Thanks you to all coaches, team managers, parents and players for a fantastic season.
Presentation day is Sunday, 20 November, between 1-3 pm at Emerald Primary School Gym.
