Juniors keep finals hopes alive

Monbulk’s four junior competitive teams all had great wins on the weekend.
With two matches to go, all four teams are now a chance to play finals.
A maiden century to Jim Fenby (100no) in the fourths was also a highlight, along with wins to the thirds and fifths.
On Wednesday 22 February, the club is hosting a ‘Junior Melbourne Stars Clinic’ at the main ground, 5.30pm to 7pm, for all juniors, and includes giveaways, barbecue and group photo.
Next weekend is the last home and away game for our five senior teams.
The thirds, fourths and fifths are all a finals chance.
It is also ‘Ladies/Pink Stumps Day’ next Saturday (25 February, 2pm – 5pm in the Logcabin).
This is a fund-raiser for breast cancer.
So go to Facebook page ‘We’re Here For The Boobs’, for more information and to donate your bras.
All Monbulk Cricket Club girls, family and friends are welcome.
Next Friday 24 February and 5.30pm is also the last Milo in2Cricket session for the season – Trophy Night.
Well done to all the kids involved this season.
