Not a day goes by for Rick

The singer-songwriter has walked the journey of which many musicians dream.
In the ‘90s, very few radio stations would go one day without a Rick Price song on high rotation, with a selection of his broad repertoire from eight albums.
Price has been nominated for, and received, numerous music industry awards, including the prestigious APRA Song of the Year award for his song ‘Heaven Knows’ and the Export Music Australia award for his outstanding achievement abroad.
Smash hits, ‘Heaven Knows’, ‘Not a Day Goes By’, ‘Walk Away Renee’ and ‘River of Love’ have propelled Rick onto the international stages and tours with Tommy Emmanuel throughout the US and Europe.
Now, Price is proud to announce his ‘Work that Fire’ Australia tour for this month and next.
‘Work that Fire’ was released on 10 February, along with the next single from Price’s latest album, ‘Tennessee Sky’.
This track was the inspiration from the album.
Price said he is enormously proud of his latest offering.
“‘Work that Fire’ is the flagship song from my ‘Tennessee Sky’ album,” he said.
“A theme of unity and solidarity.
“A metaphor for transformation to the higher ground, where we can do together what we cannot do alone.”
Price wrote and produced ‘Work that Fire’ in Nashville, Tennessee, and has received some incredibly positive reviews.
Audiences will be taken on a musical journey at Price’s live shows, dancing in the aisles and joining him on stage for a sing-along, where there will be smiles all around the room with his upbeat set.
The classics are still there, along with tracks from his latest album.
Price will perform on Friday 3 March at Sooki Lounge, Belgrave.
