Mooroolbark truckie in Elwood crash

A Mooroolbark man was taken to hospital with minor injuries following a fatal collision in Elmore.

Police are investigating the crash on the Northern Highway about 7.30pm on Wednesday 25 July.

It’s believed a sedan travelling north collided with a truck travelling in the opposite direction.

The sedan’s driver, a 71-year-old Ringwood East woman, died at the scene.

The truck driver, a 23-year-old Mooroolbark man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The collision’s cause is yet to be determined.
