Two and Two Together

Rachel’s husband Victor never suspects that she is keeping an assignation with a young man in the house of her good friend Georgina.

Why should he? He has other things on his mind – in the shape of the said Georgina, who he has met secretly while her husband Henry, an actor, is safely occupied in the theatre.

But Henry returns home unexpectedly, and the two couples are forced into a riotous whirlwind of lies and misunderstandings.

Season: February 22 – March 5.

Burrinja

Live on the Lawn 2023

Groove the afternoon away in the park at Burrinja this February. This mini-music festival features Alcides Net, Babagnaoish, Yusupha Ngun and the Affia Band and soul-funk royalty Kylie Auldist with her band.

Ross Wilson celebrates “50 years of Eagle Rock”

From Daddy Cool to Mondo Rock and as a solo artist with no less than 26 ARIA Top 40 hits to his credit as a singer, songwriter and producer, Ross Wilson is one of Australia’s most awarded, respected and well-known artists! From the legendary band Daddy Cool whose 19971 number one anthem Eagle Rock smashed all previous sales records in Australia, to the 1977 formation of Mondo Rock, delivering 80’s hits, Cool World, State of heart, Chemistry, No Time and Come Said the Boy into the 21st century as a solo performer, producer and songwriter, Wilson has never been out of the limelight.

If the weather makes it impossible to be outside we will have the performance at The Gem, 10 Kilvington Drive Emerald.

The themes of love, mistaken identity, sexual jealousy, honour, betrayal and friendship all play out against the background of the Sicilian countryside.

The war is over. Everyone is out for fun, drinking, dancing, flirting and singing are the order of the day. As Don Pedro and his entourage come to the estate of Leonato, Governor of Messina. We meet Beatrice, a clever, quick witted woman who is engaged in an endless battle of wits with the noble Benedick. We also meet the young and inexperienced Hero and Claudio. Hero is Leonardo’s daughter, Claudio and Benedick are courtiers in the service of Don Pedro, Prince of Aragon, a powerful nobleman
