The Monbulk Junior Football Club Hawkettes played an early match in the final home and away round of the season.
The under-14s clash with Belgrave was brought forward to Wednesday 24 July instead of Sunday 28 July.
The league rescheduled the game due to a huge number of girls from both teams being due to represent their schools in the Volleyball Victoria Three-Day Schools Cup from Friday to Sunday.
“The girls loved playing under lights,” club photographer Anthea Heagney said.
“It was a great atmosphere and a big crowd to cheer the girls on.”
The Hawkettes defeated Belgrave, 9.10.64 to 4.5.29.
