Footy finals fever is upon the Monbulk Junior Football club, with both the under-14 girls and under-16 boys playing strong opponents.
The Hawkettes’ close loss and the boys’ close win made for exciting spectating.
Under-14 girls

The Hawkettes didn’t get over the line, but the result and game day pressure gave the side the confidence to know they could match Mount Evelyn to be competitive.
A little fine tuning in their game structures and another game under their belt will put the Hawkettes in great stead for the rest of the finals.
Next week they’ll fight to win a semi-final.

The boys put in a fantastic effort in a clash that was tough and close all day.
The group worked hard all game for a close win and to earn a week off.
