Tickets still available for Shane Warne State memorial service

Tickets for Shane Warne’s state memorial service at the MCG are still available.

The event on Wednesday 30 March begins at 7pm and will feature performances, tributes and reflections from Shane Warne’s friends, family and colleagues.

Shane Warne is remembered as one of Australia’s greatest ever sportspeople, who created memories throughout his careers like the Ashes hat trick at the MCG, his 700th test wicket on Boxing Day and his famous ball of the century in 1993.

After first playing for Australia in 1992, he played 145 tests and 194 one-day internationals, taking over 1000 wickets in the process.
