Emerald Football Club and Gembrook-Cockatoo met in a fiercely contested Anzac Weekend clash, with Emerald coming out on top by 2 points.

The game, celebrating Anzac Day, finished 87 to 85, with Pat Chin winning the Donovan Joynt Medallion after kicking 6 goals, named after the Emerald RSL member and Victoria Cross winner.
