Montrose Football Netball Club’s colourful celebration

On Sunday 11 September, Montrose Football and Netball Club will be holding their first colour run since 2019 as part of the club’s end-of-year celebrations.

From 3pm to 6pm, netball and football players, their families and the wider community can take part in the obstacle course to raise funds for the club.

The colour run will take place at Montrose Recreation Reserve, 950 Mount Dandenong Tourist Road, Montrose.

“It’s a break-up for our teams who have actually been able to compete in 14 rounds of football throughout the whole of the winter season, But it’s also for the community to come in and have a great day, afternoon,” Montrose Football and Netball Club events coordinator Rachael Hutchin said.

“Fingers crossed It’s beautiful weather, but even if they get wet, It’s the joy of seeing everyone having that smile on their face and be able to enjoy it and be out there with their friends and family,” she said.

Individual passes are $15, while a whole family pass is $40.
