DISPLAYING an eclectic mix of clothing with something for everyone, Walk In Wardrobe in Belgrave features handpicked quality vintage and retro clothing for men and women, with some European imports to add a spark of the exotic.
A beautiful range of Indian sterling silver jewellery and gemstones accompanies the collection which also includes vintage accessories, trilby and stetson hats, kaftans, ‘70s polyester shirts, funky ties, vintage headscarves and great jackets in leather, suede, velvet and more.
All secondhand clothes are hand picked, quality checked and priced accordingly by Walk In Wardrobe owner Danielle Devalence who has spent many fulfilling years in the retail industry.
“I love travelling and sourcing items of interest and strive to find unique pieces,” she said.
“We are not an op shop but a specialty shop in retro and vintage clothing, perfect for unique individuals or anyone going to a theme party.
“People can come and spend hours sifting through a multitude of interesting pieces and find something special, just for themselves.”
Danielle is now incorporating some new lines of clothing such as Boomshankar — an eclectic, bohemian range of clothing; Minkpink — a vintage-inspired range and a new funky accessory range.
“I have also found retro reprint T-shirts such as The Goodies, Monkey Magic and Redheads,” she said.
Eftpos and credit card facilities and layby are available and gift vouchers will be introduced for Christmas shopping.
Walk In Wardrobe is at 1694 Burwood Highway, Belgrave.
Hours are 11am-4pm Monday and Tuesday and 10am-5pm Wednesday to Saturday.
