Pure Magic delights

FOR the first time in the sport’s history, the enormously popular FAFL Cup came to Mount Evelyn over the weekend, and it did not disappoint.
The national competition brought clubs from all over the country, both men’s and women’s, to compete in the biggest Futsal competition in Australia.
NSW team Sydney Magic FC (pictured) took out the men’s title, while Queensland team South Brisbane FC was crowned women’s champions.
FAFL is a Futsal Oz Australian Futsal League Cup Competition.
Futsal is almost exclusively an indoors sport, which is a five-a-side version of soccer.
The sport was developed in Brazil in about the 1940s.
