 It was a mixed bag of results for Olinda Ferny Creek as the club took on a traditional rival in AFL Outer East Netball Premier Division at Wandin North Recreation Reserve on Saturday 22 June.

Wandin outclassed Olinda Ferny Creek 30 to 22 in the 17 and Under grade.

Ava Van Leemput, Illyah Reid and Hannah Pace were among the best for Olinda Ferny Creek.

In D-grade, Wandin completely outclassed Olinda Ferny Creek in the first three quarters.

Only a strong last quarter from Olinda Ferny Creek put some respectability back on the scoreboard (34 to 26).

C-grade opened up the account for Olinda Ferny Creek in a thrilling game of netball.

The first half was all Olinda Ferny Creek’s.

Wandin then barnstormed back in to the match with a scintillating third quarter.

The last quarter was an epic with Wandin drawing level at one stage, but Olinda Ferny Creek won by two goals, 40 to 38.

B-grade was a good tussle throughout but it was Olinda Ferny Creek that just had that little bit of extra depth, running out winners by 10 goals, 45 to 35.

A-grade was another solid performance from Olinda Ferny Creek as the side increased its lead every quarter to win by 31 goals, 71 to 40.
