The Yarra Valley’s Oktoberfest was a rallying point for many locals to carouse with friends while enjoying traditional German beer and food.
Thousands of lederhosen-clad blokes and Bavarian beer maids descended on Lilydale to fill their steins and pay tribute to the Oktoberfest gods.
