Teens arrested following Hills crime spree

A teenager from The Patch has been charged with various offences following a spate of aggravated burglaries and car thefts over the past month.

Officers arrested a man and three youth offenders in an allegedly stolen car in Cranbourne on Wednesday 17 March, following a range of offences committed across Eastern and South Eastern suburbs – including Belgrave and Sassafras.

The 16-year old boy from The Patch was charged with 14 aggravated burglaries and theft of motor vehicles, 12 theft from motor vehicles and six counts of intentionally exposing an emergency worker to risk by driving.

He was remanded in custody to appear at a children’s court at a later date.

An 18-year-old Pakenham man, a 17-year-old Cranbourne North girl and a 15-year-old Doveton boy were also charged with various offences, including theft, possess cannabis and handling stolen goods.
