EVERY year Information Victoria presents a unique Rural Christmas Market to support small rural businesses and country cottage industries.
The wide range of hand-crafted products come from across the state.
A variety of regional food can be found at this market – jams, preserves, fudges, olive products, Christmas puddings and food hampers.
The market also features wood crafts and metalwork, sheepskin and woollen products, hand-made glass work, emu oil products, a large range of lavender products, hemp products, pottery, natural skin care, Aboriginal artwork and soft toys.
At this year’s Rural Christmas Market:
*View the extensive range of Christmas gifts and enter the draw to win a rural Christmas hamper, valued at more than $200.
*Pick-up a free Information Victoria 2006 calendar.
*Browse through the Information Victoria Bookshop to find that unique gift which may include books on local history, cooking and renovating.
*Take the opportunity to purchase a fabulous CD ROM showcasing Victoria, called My Victoria. It’s easier to carry than a coffee table book and has more than 600 images.
