SNIPPETS: Knox Rainbow Playground

Knox City Council’s new Rainbow Family Playgroup starts on Tuesday 18 October at the Knox Children and Family Centre in Bayswater.

The group will meet weekly as a safe space for LGBTQIA+ families with babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

“Playgroups are a great way for families to meet new friends and access parenting information and support,” Knox City Council said.

“Playgroups help children develop their social skills and confidence, extend their language and learn early literacy through words, books and stories.”

The playground will run from 9.30am to 11.30am every Tuesday.

The playgroup is free to join and families can register at stickytickets.com.au/nztdc/knox_rainbow_family_playgroup_lgbtqia_families.aspx
