The Kalorama and Mt Dandenong Fire Brigade is saddened by the passing of one of our members, Volunteer Firefighter, John Van Reymersdael.
John gave his time to the brigade for 27 years as a firefighter and also as the Brigade Health and Safety Officer since 2014.
John will be remembered as a loving husband and father to Kathy and their children and proud grandparent to their grandchildren as well as a friend to brigade members.
He was always ready to pitch in and also lend a friendly ear if anyone wanted a chat.
Our brigade is a close-knit community of dedicated volunteers and John’s loss leaves a significant gap in the team.
We are thinking of Kathy and the Van Reymersdael family at this sad time.
