Trains between Upper Ferntree Gully and Belgrave station on the Belgrave Line have resumed after a power fault caused disruptions earlier in the day.
Passengers are asked to allow extra time for their journey as trains get back into position to resume the normal timetable.
The Department of Transport thanked passengers for their patience while emergency services worked to clear the incident.
