A free online webinar on Community Electric Vehicle and Charging Infrastructure, hosted by Yarra Ranges Council is hosting, will be held in July.
This webinar will cover the following topics:
– The different types of electric vehicles
– Electric vehicle models and prices
– Running costs, travel distances and future capabilities
– Charger types and recharge time
– City driving versus country driving and the impacts on range
– Integration of charging and rooftop solar
– Current charging infrastructure and costs
The session is aimed at helping residents make informed decisions about switching to an electric vehicle.
Dr Elliot Fishman will be the presenter, he has served as the Director of Institute of Sensible Transport since 2005 and is ranked in the top 2 per cent of scientists for his contribution to transport by Stanford University.
The webinar will be held on Wednesday, 19 July at 6pm.
