The Fortis Heavy Duty Adjustable FID Weight Bench sold by Kogan Australia has been recalled.
The welding joint on the seat support may fail during use and there is a risk of injury or property damage if the welding joint fails and the bench moves during use. Injuries have occurred as a result of this hazard.
The bench can adjust to be flat or have an incline or decline and is red and black in colour with Fortis printed on the backrest.
Consumers should stop using the weight bench immediately and contact Kogan on the Kogan website or email recalls@kogan.com.au with the order details.
Kogan will assist consumers to return the weight bench and provide a refund.
The product was available nationally, internationally and online between 24 February 2022 and 8 April 2024.
It was available for purchase from Kogan, Dick Smith, Matt Blatt and Mighty Ape.
