PAVED Festival kicks off with FunFest

Emerald’s PAVED Festival kicked off with the annual FunFest this past weekend with great success, attracting a large crowd of locals and visitors.

Held at the Gemco Players Community Theatre on Sunday 6 April, highlights included live music performances, family-friendly activities like carnival rides, and an array of food trucks offering delicious treats.

The FunFest is at the start of the almost week-long PAVED Festival, standing for Performing and Visual Arts in Emerald & District, celebrating all things arts and culture in Emerald.

PAVED will include a host of events each day until Saturday 12 April, such as an open mic night, exhibitions and art workshops.

The FunFest brought the community together in a celebration of culture, creativity, and fun. To find out about the other events during PAVED Festival, go to: paved.org.au
