Icy morning stuns at Cardinia Reservoir

Victorians woke to a frosty surprise on Monday, 19 May, as icy temperatures swept across the state.

At Cardinia Reservoir, the cold air left a thick layer of white across the grass, trees, and walking tracks, transforming the landscape into a serene winter wonderland. Local photographer, Tracy Dasler captured the quiet beauty of the morning, you can see more of her frosty shots on Instagram at @tracylandscapes.

The early morning stillness drew a few keen locals out to enjoy the scene, including photographer, Tracy Dasler, who captured the quiet beauty of the moment.

With more chilly mornings forecast, it’s the perfect excuse to bundle up, breathe in the crisp air, and take a moment to enjoy nature at its most peaceful – just don’t forget your gloves.
