A young teen was rushed to the hospital yesterday in a critical condition in the outer east of Melbourne.
The afternoon of Tuesday, 28 October, saw the Ferntree Gully and surrounding communities shocked by a tragic sporting accident at the Wally Tew Reserve.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed they were called to an incident in Ferntree Gully around 4:45 pm yesterday.
“Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) paramedics assessed and treated one person at the scene,” said a media representative.
A teenage male was transported by road ambulance to Monash Medical Centre Clayton in a critical condition. The hospital was contacted for comment.
